With over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry, Darren is A1 Highways Maintenance Project Manager for Southern Queensland and Northern New South Whales. Darren is responsible for facilitating and managing the maintenance works for both Government and public entities on minor and major arterial roads.
Darren’s significant experience means he can effectively manage multiple programming, with a strong leadership aptitude to ensure projects are finalized for the client with the best outcome.
Darren has managed approximately 1600 maintenance projects and crash investigations over a 5 year period since joining A1 Highways, with 250 maintenance projects on the Sunshine Coast alone.
Pete is A1 Highways Estimating and Project Coordinator, and is responsible for ensuring your quote gets processed on time and on budget. Prior to A1 Highways, Pete worked within the Steel works and logistics industries and has used the last 5 years to hone his roadside construction skills to a premier level.
Pete has worked and quoted on some of Australia’s largest infrastructure road projects, and works with Councils, Governments, and Principal contractors every step of the way to ensure they have a seamless quoting process.
With his friendly demeanor, and customer service driven attitude, Pete ensures our field teams are prepared to meet our clients project requirements.

Mark is A1 Highways Leading Supervisor, working Nationwide to ensure that your job gets processed to the correct specifications. With over 40 years’ roadside construction experience, Mark is a an experienced leader within Guardrail and Wire Rope installation. He has also been involved with Noise Barrier, Signage and Solar Farm installations.
Mark is estimated to have worked on over 1000 projects throughout his career within the U.K. and Australia, with notable projects including, the Pacific Highway Upgrade (Yamba), The Logan Enhancement Project (LEP), Cooroy – Curra (C2C), RMS Maintenance Contracts, South Australia DTI projects.
